About us
Recipe Philly is a restaurant built by the people who live and eat here.
Last year, we held an open call across the Philadelphia region, inviting anyone to submit a family recipe they believed deserved a wider audience. Home cooks, grandmothers, line cooks, neighbors. Real food with real history behind it. We filmed the competition in July 2026, and the winning dishes made it straight onto the opening menu.
The restaurant opened to the public in August 2026. We're currently in post-production with plans to bring the full story to a broader audience.
