Join Our Team

Recipe Philly is a full-service restaurant built around a simple idea: family recipes are worth preserving and sharing. Our menu comes from a citywide competition and accompanying reality TV series. Real dishes from real Philadelphia families, brought to life in a professional kitchen.

The food has a story. The experience and the team behind it should too. We call it Heirloom Hospitality

All positions include competitive compensation, industry-leading benefits, and monthly bonuses for leadership roles. If you don't see your position listed, send your resume anyway. We're building something the city hasn't seen before, and we'd rather have the right people than wait for the right posting.

Busser

As a Busser, you'll help create a welcoming dining experience by greeting guests, quickly clearing and resetting tables, and supporting servers with the needs of the dining room. You'll keep the restaurant clean, organized, and well-stocked to ensure guests enjoy a comfortable and inviting environment.

Server

As a Server (Experience Enhancer), you'll deliver warm, attentive service by guiding guests through the menu, sharing the stories behind each dish, and creating memorable dining experiences. You'll work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service while providing knowledgeable recommendations and exceptional hospitality.

Host

As a Host (Guest Ambassador), you create a warm first impression by welcoming guests, managing reservations, waitlists, and seating, and setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. You'll support the front-of-house team, build knowledge of the menu and its story, and ensure every guest feels valued from arrival to departure.

Line Cook

We're looking for a Line Cook (Meal Preparation Specialist) with at least one year of line cook experience who takes pride in consistency and keeps a clean station. You'll prep and cook to spec, manage your workstation through service, and hold food safety standards without needing a reminder. Evenings, weekends, and holidays are part of the job. So is stepping in where the team needs you. If you work well under pressure and care about what comes off your station, we'd like to meet you.

Service Manager

We're looking for a Service Manager to lead front-of-house operations and own the guest experience from first impression through final touchpoint. You'll hire and develop the FOH team, set and uphold service standards across every shift, and manage the floor directly. The role covers scheduling, labor management, and cross-functional collaboration with the bar, culinary, and management teams.

Bar Manager

We're looking for an experienced Bar Manager and Lead Mixologist to build and run our full-service bar program from the ground up. You'll hire and develop the team, own beverage cost and inventory, and hold consistency standards across every drink through regular free-pour testing. The right person knows their numbers, leads on the floor, and is genuinely curious about the food and the community behind it.

Evening Sous Chef

We're looking for an Evening Sous Chef with 3+ years of leadership experience to run the kitchen through lunch and dinner service. You'll oversee production across all menu items, hold the team to recipe standards and SOPs, and keep the kitchen organized and inspection-ready when the pace is highest. Training line cooks and following through on accountability are part of the role, as is jumping in when the shift needs it. High-volume experience matters here. The right person stays steady under pressure, knows their way around food cost and labor basics, and leads by being genuinely invested in the people around them. Philadelphia Food Safety certification required or ability to obtain one.

Morning Sous Chef

We're looking for a Morning Sous Chef with 3+ years of leadership experience to run production before service begins. You'll oversee prep for breads, pastries, and desserts, hold the team to recipe standards and kitchen SOPs, and keep the broader kitchen organized and inspection-ready. Training and accountability are part of the role, and so is jumping in alongside prep and line cooks when the shift calls for it. The right person is calm under pressure, has a solid grasp of baking technique and food cost basics, and leads by being genuinely invested in the people around them. Philadelphia Food Safety certification required or ability to obtain one.
