Recipe Philly is a first-of-its-kind restaurant built around the recipes, stories, and traditions that define Philadelphia. Through a citywide competition, local home cooks share meaningful family recipes for the opportunity to earn a place on our opening menu. The result is a dining experience where every dish has a story behind it.

Recipe Philly is American comfort food with international dishes mixed in, unified by real family recipes rather than by a specific cuisine. Our menu runs wide and represents the diverse communities that make Philadelphia unique, from brisket sandwiches, to pasta e fagioli soup, penne with crab and gorgonzola, caesar salad, meatballs, bread pudding, apple pie, and more.

What is Heirloom Hospitality?

Heirloom Hospitality is our belief that food is more than nourishment. It is memory, tradition, and connection passed from one generation to the next. Every dish on our menu is rooted in a real person, family, or community story. Our team embodies that same spirit, bringing the food and beverages to life through warm, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels part of the story.

Where is Recipe Philly located?

Recipe Philly is located at 1401 Arch Street in Center City Philadelphia, at the corner of Broad and Arch Streets. The main entrance is located on Broad Street, directly across from the Pennsylvania Convention Center and just steps from City Hall.

Yes. Reservations are available through Resy.

Will you offer private events, catering, or online ordering?

Yes, we offer private events and catering. Online ordering will launch in just a few short weeks, including food lockers for easy pick-up.
