How did the competition work?
Last fall, home cooks from across the Philadelphia region submitted family recipes for consideration. Selected contestants competed for the opportunity to have their dish featured on the restaurant's opening menu.
Who are the contestants?

Who are the judges?
The competition was judged by Chef Clara Park and Chef Jennifer Carroll, both familiar faces from national cooking shows, alongside Philly food influencer Josh Eats Philly. Hosting the competition is Josh Randall, executive producer and hype host known for his work on American Idol and other unscripted TV.
When was the competition filmed?
Filming wrapped in July 2026. The competition was captured as part of a larger storytelling project celebrating Philadelphia's food traditions and the people behind them. Stay tuned for air date and release details.
